SHORT bridle

What is the short bridle: The short bridle (frenulum breve) is the condition where the bridle is not long enough to fully reveal the head of the penis during erection.

This causes pain or discomfort during sexual intercourse. It can also lead to minor bridle injuries. These in turn either lead to a complete cut of the bridle and solution of the problem or if the bridle (the cuticle) is not completely cut, to the creation of inelastic scar tissue and worsening of the problem. It is not uncommon for the patient to develop psychosexual disorders due to this problem.

Short bridle and tackle. The penile bridle (frenulum penis in Latin), is a piece of skin that connects the foreskin of the penis (the head of the penis) to the foreskin (the skin that surrounds the penis). The bridle is a joint with great elasticity, and when it is long enough it allows even in a full erection to fully reveal the head of the penis.

Short Curb and Symptoms. Symptoms of short bridle are caused when the penis is erect and include abrasions, scarring, further reduction in elasticity. Sexual intercourse becomes painful, often even when touching the organ. Worsening of the condition can lead to bleeding that needs immediate medical attention. Very often, warts develop on the short bridle, which are favored by injuries in the area.

Treatment. The short bridle is treated surgically. Either with the use of surgical carbon dioxide (CO2) Laser, or with a scalpel (cold steel). The operation is performed under local anesthesia and does not last more than an hour. Depending on the size of the problem, simple resection and suturing or Z-plasty can be performed, which generally has better results. The stitches are removed in 2 weeks. The short bridle should be separated as a condition from the gag, and it has a different treatment, although in the restoration of gag with circumcision, the bridle can be excised at the same time.
